I paint slowly.
I know no other way.

I was born in Valencia in 1992. For the past decade I've worked in Madrid, in a top-floor studio where the light shifts five times a day. I paint exclusively in oil, on hand-prepared linen and panel, in long sessions and layers that settle over time.

I've shown in Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Mexico. Some of my works are held in private collections in Madrid, Lisbon, Berlin and Mexico City, and in the institutional collection of the Fundación Antonio Saura.

Alongside painting, I've spent years photographing. It's a sister practice: when painting forces me to stay still, the camera lets me leave. The images live in a photographic notebook that I keep adding to.
